Results from the UIV/IVBP 3Day are in the system and the points re-calculated. No change to top of the standings in either the Mens or Womens competitions heading into this weekends Testarossa Velodrome Challenge to be held at Hellyer Velodrome. Best of luck to all the racers this weekend, and we'll see an update to the points again next week before Dick Lane Velodrome's Pro Race Series event, Outback Bikes presents 'The Omnium' and then again before the Alpenrose Velodrome Challenge.

Courtesy of Mike Murray at Alpenrose Velodrome:
As we are counting up the prizes for the Six Day at Alpenrose we noted that
rather than the advertised $4,000+ the actual amount is closer to $10,000.
If prize list is something that motivates you to race this is a race you
should not miss.

ATRA NCS Standings Updated
With the second round of ATRA's National Championship Series, MN Fixed Gear Classic, in the books, the standings have been updated and some new leaders have emerged.
On the Mens side, some stellar performances by Project London's Kevin Mansker on the sprint side and former World Champion and 6-Day star Franco Marvulli on the endurance side pushed them both into the lead in their respective disciplines and into a tie for the overall points lead. With Alexander Gil and Michael Blatchford tied just one point behind Mansker and Marvulli, only one point separates the top 4 riders.
On the Womens side, Cristin Walker and Val Brostrom were the big point scorers of the weekend, however they weren't quite able to overcome Lauren Roberston's points tally from the Matrix Cup event at the Superdrome earlier in the year. Walker has taken a handy lead in the Sprint standings, while Brostrom and Robertson are tied for the lead in the Endurance standings.
The next stop on the NCS calendar is at the International Velodrome at Bloomer Park for their UIV/IVBP 3 Day Madison Cup. The full series schedule can be found here: http://www.raceatra.com/NCS/index.html
